A big thank you all for the well wishes and support. This is going to be a long arduous process and your ongoing support is critical and crucial. The criminal case against Chris is moving like molasses and will most likely continue as such. The case has been a political shit show for the courts and they are struggling to keep up with backing up their lies. A ton of procedural cogs need to move into place before a trial date is set. Chris’s legal team is adamant the only acceptable deal is full dismissal. Chris has appeared on the status docket three times, with a fourth date set for next month. The prosecutor has not bothered to show up to most of these appearances, either sending an assistant to tell the court that a deal hasn’t been reached, or flaking on the appearance entirely. The whole charade is wearing down even some of the clerks, who grumble that they don’t understand why this is even going to trial. No matter how ridiculous it all may look outside the veil, this is all part of Texas’s open and active hostility towards the Left leading towards a McCarthyite clampdown on any organizing against the most so called “free” state.
